When you buy Sonos from Smart Home Sounds, you’re automatically covered by our exclusive 6-year warranty — giving you extra peace of mind well beyond the standard Sonos manufacturer warranty.

- 6 years of cover from the date of purchase
- Protection against manufacturing faults and defects
- Repair or replacement of your Sonos product if a fault arises under warranty (can include replacement with a refurbished item)
- Support from our dedicated team to guide you through troubleshooting and next steps
🔄 How it works
- Years 1–2: Sonos manufacturer warranty
- Sonos provides direct warranty cover for the first 2 years.
If a fault develops during this time, you're welcome to contact ourselves or Sonos
Years 2+–6: Smart Home Sounds extended warranty
- From year 2 onwards, your warranty is handled by us.
- If your product develops a fault, contact our team and we’ll manage the repair or replacement in line with our warranty terms.
🛠 What to do if your Sonos develops a fault
- Reach out to our team at info@smarthomesounds.co.uk with:
- Your name and order number
- Details of the fault (including when it started and any troubleshooting you’ve tried)
Photos/videos if possible (this helps us assess the issue quickly)
Our team will:
- Provide troubleshooting advice to see if we can resolve the issue remotely
- If not resolved, arrange for you to return the item to us for inspection
- Once tested, we’ll organise a repair or replacement depending on the situation
⚠️ What’s not covered
- Accidental damage (drops, liquid damage, misuse, etc.)
- Cosmetic wear and tear that doesn’t affect performance
- Issues caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications
- Battery life (in the final 4 years)
- Return postage after 2 years
