Types of Ceiling Speaker

As with anything, ceiling speakers come in all shapes and sizes too. We’ve listed some of the most common factors/terms that you might come across in-ceiling speaker descriptions.

6.5" & 8" Refers to the size of the driver 6.5" is suitable for most installs, only increase to 8" if you want more bass or the room is larger

It’s also possible to purchase most ceiling speakers with either a round grill or square grill to match the aesthetics in your room.

All ceiling speakers are provided with a white grill as standard that can be spray-painted with water-based paint to match the colour of your ceiling.
