Can I install ceiling speakers in a bathroom?

Yes, absolutely. You just need to make sure the grill is resistant to steam and moisture which would be indicated by its IP44 rating.

Most ceiling speakers are naturally steam and moisture resistant so as long as they are not positioned within a shower enclosure or over a bath, and you are using adequate extractor fans, this will not cause damage to the ceiling speaker.

However, if you would like to position them within a shower enclosure or above a bath, you will need to use all-weather ceiling speakers with a minimum IP54 rating.
