Can I use ceiling speakers with my TV?
It is possible to get TV audio through your ceiling speakers by connecting your ceiling speakers to an amplifier that has an HDMI-ARC, optical, RCA or 3.5mm jack.
Once this connection has been established, your TV audio will automatically play through your ceiling speakers.
DISCLAIMER: using ceiling speakers as the only source of TV sound may not sound great as the sound will be coming from above your head and firing downwards rather than in front of you. As a result, we would always recommend using a soundbar, if possible, for the best experience. Ceiling speakers do make great surround speakers however!
