How to use AirPlay 2 on Sonos

AirPlay 2 is available on the entire current Sonos range. 

Airplay 2 is an Apple iOS technology that allows you to stream music or audio wirelessly from within the native app you're using, meaning you can cast audio from programmes such as Youtube, Netflix and other music streaming options directly to your Sonos speaker.

Please note, Airplay 2 is only available on Apple devices that can run iOS 11.4 or later, and isn't available on Android devices.

How to set up AirPlay 2

Open the content you’d like to stream to your Sonos speaker

Swipe up from the bottom of your iDevice and select the AirPlay icon, or click the top right Airplay icon on a Mac

Tick the rooms you’d like to play or group your audio to and press Done
