What is "Autoplay" and how do I enable it?

Autoplay is a useful tool on the Sonos app that automatically switches the source of your Line-In device to play on any selected speaker in your Sonos system.

For example, if you are playing music on your Sonos Beam Gen 2 and then you turn your TV on, (providing your TV is connected via optical or HDMI-ARC/eARC to the Beam) it will automatically switch the source to your TV audio and vice versa if you decide to switch back to music.

This also works for a turntable, so that the system will automatically start playing the turntable audio as soon as the needle hits the vinyl - you can choose any of your Sonos speakers for the audio to play through.

To enable Line-in Autoplay, open Settings > System > Tap the room you'd like to enable Autoplay on > Autoplay > Autoplay Room > Select the room

You can also set an Autoplay default volume under the Volume section on the same menu.
