How to tune your Sonos speakers using "TruePlay"
TruePlay tuning is an exclusive Sonos technology which measures how the sound reflects off the walls and furniture in your room and makes acoustic adjustments for your room. We would recommend completing the TruePlay tuning process for each room you have to get the most out of the system.
You will need to have an Apple device to complete the set up (Tip: if you don't have one, borrow one from a friend as it's a one-time process).
When setting up your speaker, the Sonos app will prompt you to complete the TruePlay tuning set up, however if you've skipped it, follow the below instructions to find it again:
- From Settings, tap System and then select the room you wish to tune.
- Choose Trueplay then Trueplay Tuning and follow the instructions to complete the tuning process.
Please note, the Move/2 and Roam/SL portable speakers use Auto-TruePlay and does not require a manual tuning process.
The TruePlay tuning process will need to be done again if you have factory reset your speaker or moved the speaker to a different position.
