How to create a stereo pair with your Sonos speakers

Creating a stereo pair with your Sonos speakers will give you a much wider soundstage than a single speaker on its own as your speakers become a dedicated left and right speaker.

Once you create a stereo pair, they become one room in the Sonos app and will always play as a pair.

In order to create a stereo pair, your Sonos speakers must be both the same model (though the Sonos One/OneSL can be used.)

To create a stereo pair:

1. Go to the Sonos App
2. Open the Sonos app
3. Tap Settings then System.
4. Go to Products, then tap a speaker you’d like to use for your stereo pair.
5. Tap Set Up Stereo Pair (or Create Stereo Pair if using the Sonos S1 app) and follow the on-screen instructions.
