How do I connect my Bluetooth turntable to a Bluetooth speaker?

Looking to connect your Bluetooth turntable with a Bluetooth speaker? We’ll show you how easy it is to enjoy your vinyl collection, free from cables.

How to Pair your Bluetooth Turntable to your Bluetooth Speaker

1

Assemble the turntable as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

2

Make sure both the turntable and Bluetooth speaker are turned on and in close proximity to each other.

3

Press and hold the Bluetooth button on your speaker to enter pairing mode - its status light should either flash fast or turn a different colour when in pairing mode.

4

Now press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button on your turntable, its status light should also indicate when it’s in pairing mode too.

5

After about 30-seconds the turntable and speaker’s lights should turn to a solid light when successfully paired to each other.

The above instructions also apply to Bluetooth headphones, too.

If the pairing was unsuccessful, make sure that the Bluetooth speaker isn’t looking for a device it’s previously paired with, like a mobile phone or a tablet.

Bluetooth profiles are compatible.
Lets start by explaining what a Bluetooth profile is. Bluetooth uses various profiles to facilitate communication between different device types over a Bluetooth link. If the Bluetooth profile isn't compatible, then you won't be able to connect. Look at the speaker spec and checkout the turntable spec too.

Forget other devices

Your turntable/speaker may only be able to connect to one device at a time. If this is the case, make sure you 'forget' other devices so they're able to have a successful connection.
