I'm not going to be in for delivery, what should I do?
Don’t worry—our couriers give you options if you know you won’t be home.
🚚 DPD & Royal Mail
- You’ll receive a message from the courier with options to:
- Rearrange your delivery for a different day
- Have your parcel delivered to a neighbour
- Choose a local pick-up shop
- Leave it in a safe place (DPD only)
If delivery is attempted and no option is selected, your parcel will be returned to the local depot and automatically re-delivered the next working day.
If the delivery is missed again, the parcel will be sent back to us.
📦 AIT (Large & Heavy Items)
- Please let us know before your order is dispatched if you need a specific delivery date.
- You’ll be given a 2–3 hour time slot on the day to help you plan.
- If you’re not available at the agreed time, a £35 charge will apply for redelivery, as this is a fee passed on by the courier.
🔐 Omni Finance Orders & High-Value Deliveries
For security reasons, some orders (including Omni pay monthly orders and certain high-value items) are sent via DPD Pin Code Delivery.
In these cases, you can still change the delivery date, but:
- The order cannot be left with a neighbour
- It cannot be left in a safe place
- It cannot be delivered to a pick-up shop
